About the information We check what we publish, but rules, prices, opening hours, and dates in Japan change. Each page shows when it was last checked. Confirm the important things (transport, tickets, entry rules) with the official source before you go.
Plans and itineraries
- Plans are suggestions. You book everything yourself, directly with the hotel, airline, rail company, or booking site. We don't make bookings and we aren't a party to them.
- Your booking is between you and that company. Their terms, cancellation rules, and prices apply.
- We aren't responsible for delays, closures, weather, or changes made by those companies.
Payments and refunds
- Ready-made plans: you answer a few questions when you order, and we email the plan that fits you best within 48 hours. Within 8 days of purchase, you can cancel for a full refund. No reason needed. Email us at [contact email] with your order number.
- Custom plans: you answer our questions when you order. Cancel within 24 hours of ordering for a full refund. After that we start work, and the plan is not refunded.
- Custom plans include changes by email until your trip starts (swap places, move days, change the pace). Adding a city or extra days counts as a new plan.
- When your plan is final, we send a before-you-go checklist for your trip.
- Prices are in USD. Checkout is handled by Gumroad, which adds any sales tax or VAT for your country.
